Audio Visual Services certainly isn’t your average A/V guy that works out of his basement. We are a team of professional A/V techs that know the ins and outs for all your staging, audio, and video needs.

Whether you need our team to plan and operate your next event or if you rather just have us lend a helping hand and rent out some equipment, AVS is here for you.

Staff

JOAQUIN GONZALEZ, is an electrical engineer and has incorporated all of his studies into the Audio Visual industry. He has worked as a technical director, and a liaison between the client and other audio visual companies overseas. JOAQUIN has been in the industry over 16 years, he has experience running very extensive and detailed events. Not only does he have all of the experience running corporate and social events, but he has been involved in the management of the audio visual department at a few hotel properties for various years.

MONICA DE ZAYAS, has also been in the industry for over 10 years and although you will rarely see her out in the field she is definitely there behind the scenes. Along with a smile, she and the staff will ensure that your event will be flawless one.

OSVALDO “OZZIE” VAZQUEZ, is also an electrical engineer and is always ready with creative ideas to help ensure that your event is different every time. He is an intricate part of our team with certifications for rigging, and lighting, he is key to our creative department. He will make sure that your event is very well executed from the beginning to the end.

NATALIA MARTINEZ, is our accounting brainiac handles all of our hotel invoicing and is also here to assist you with anything that you may need. Hard to find a person that works with accounting that is constantly smiling we have.

ANTHONY “TONY” SERRA, A technician of all sorts, works with and fixes computers on a regular basis, and also attends events. Tony has worked in hotels for over 5 years and carries that experience as well. Tony’s always eager to help with any audio visual questions that you may have.

ROGELIO BELTRAN, they are our warehouse technicians you will see them driving our vans making deliveries, setting shows, and keeping track of all equipment. “these guys are the brains in our warehouse”

Daniel Fernandez -A1/ Audio Engineer for Front Of the House, Monitor and Sound Systems Native from Caracas – Venezuela with 25+ years on the audio field , he engineers in live shows touring nationally and internationally with countless artists , he has also performed as recording/mixing engineer for broadcast shows and record labels, some of his certifications include Yamaha, Pro-tools, Rational Acoustics, Adamson.

Chris A. Picar, is a certified tech for AVS. Certifications and training via the Touring Technician by the Entertainment Technician Certification Program (ETCP), Entertainment Rigging Seminars, the James Thomas Engineering course, Analog Way Professionals training, and much more. 3 years of hands-on experience setting up numerous social, corporate and staging events containing lighting, audio, video, and rigging components.

Carlos Dugarte, (Venezuela,1978), Audio Engineer, with over 15 years of experience in a variety of events and situations as: Studio recording, F.O.H.mixer, monitors mixer, live recording,broadcast(studio,location and live), lighting design, video switching, video editing,camera, and technical direction in a wide range of events and situations. At AVS he will use his abilities to enhance our preproduction planning and organization, to ensure AVS continues to deliver outstanding events for our clients.

Charlie Cahoon, Director of A/V at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami. In 2000 he graduated from Full Sail Univ., with a degree in Recording Arts. Once graduated, he began working in studios such as “The Hit Factory/Criteria Studios” in Miami, FL among many others. He also worked as an audio-tech instructor at “SAE Institute of Miami”. For the past 8 years he has worked as a freelance tech and has also managed a/v services at several luxury hotels such as the Ritz-Carlton, Sonesta, and currently at JW Marriott Marquis.

GEORJANIS “GEO” MORALES, works as director of audio visual at the JW Marriott. He is responsible for the daily operations of audio visual such as setting striking shows, bringing in new clients, to the hotel by working really close with sales and catering team. Providing internal and external clients with a great level of customer service and technical skills.

DAVID RODRIGUEZ, Is our Project Manager for the JW Marquis Marriott who handles hotel meetings, controls daily flow sheets, setup and teardown of events, works events, and handles power drops. Assist customers with all needs including internet and the network.

RICARDO “RICKY” VALDEZ, Is are New Director of Audio Visual at the Miami Marriott Dadeland Hotel. Ricky has been in the Audio visual industry for over 11 years now, and brings tons of experience to the Hotel. Ricky is now in charge of all AV operations and is more than eager and willing to help you at any given notice.

PABLO PERALTA, provides quality service in sound, lighting, and projection.

CARLOS CARDO, is a sound engineer who is used as a Audio Technician for big/small meeting of all sorts. When He is not being used a tech, he is one of our key warehouse staff who helps ensure that all the gear that is requested for a meeting is prepared/tested and ready to go to be delivered on time.

RICHARD ORIZONDO , is our new AV Director of our newest location in Orlando, FL. Richard has been in the AV industry for five years and has a extensive knowledge of Line Arrays, Spectrum Analyzers, Computers(IT Networking), Wireless Microphones and other assorted ability’s to Audio and Video equipment. He has also run shows for the White House, Microsoft, PFIZER, Astra Zeneca and other major companies both big and small. Richard Majored in Production/Recording Arts which allowed him to work for NBC/TELEMUNDO before becoming our new AV director of Audio Visual Services Orlando.
